Black seed is a herb whose healing characteristics have been held in high regard, in the Middle East for more than 3000 years. Black seed oil is made from the seeds of Nigella sativa plant, which is also known as black seed or black cumin (English) or Habbatul Barakah (Arabic).
The herb was traditionally used to treat respiratory illnesses, stomach and intestinal ailments, circulatory and immune system dysfunction, and as a tonic for general wellbeing. Black seed oil is obtained from cold-pressed process which is the most preserved technique to maintain its nutrient and quality.
