tocotrienols

Vitamin E is a soluble vitamin that is important for health. Vitamin E is divided into 2 compound classes, namely tocopherol and tocotrienol. Tocotreinol can often be obtained from sources such as rice bran, palm oil, barley and wheat germ. Tocopherols are obtained from vegetable oil sources such as soybean oil.

Unlike tocopherol, tocotrienol is vitamin E of the unsaturated type and has isoprenoid chain characteristics that facilitate absorption and penetration into tissues such as the liver and brain.
